From a graduate of FICM: (picture soon)

From the time I was 9 or thereabouts and the dental hygienist vowed never to give me so much as a whiff of happy gas (nitrous oxide, NO2) again, it was evident that I had addictive potential. I fully realized that potential not once, but twice -- when I was 22 and I picked up a crack stem, and a decade later, after I had been sober for years, when a relapse on booze led me straight back to the cocaine. I have tried many things to stay sober -- the 12 Steps, meetings, rehabs, self-help books, psychiatry, psychology, exercise, nutrition, even substitute addictions -- but the only thing that works for the long-haul is Jesus Christ. FICM put me on the path to full recovery, as one component of my overall salvation. I no longer smoke, drink or do drugs and I feast on the Word of the Lord with joyful languor. Come dine with us!
